Woo hoo its almost time to go back to school!

Max and I have both had this last week off, and will be our only week off together until next year.
So this week we have been making the most of the sun, kids enjoying being outside.

We have taken lots and lots of pictures of the jars and scoops all filled up with yummy sweets! It was awful, I had to stop myself from eating the sweets because after a while I felt sick! lol
The pictures came out great, now I can get on with designing some postcards that we can then put in wedding fair goody bags.

Our hand printed striped bags seem to really taking off. We received a big delivery of pink and purple ones, and I am thinking about maybe getting blue and yellow too!

I am glad school starts again next week, but the oldest 2 are at school for 3 days next week and then 3 days the next. The youngest one is only at school 1 day next week and 1 the following! Trying to sort everyone out whilst I work full time is a nightmare. But being superwomen we get there in the end.

ummmm now for a cup of tea and chill out! :)

Sunny day........... yet stuck in doors :(

Why is it that when you have to work it is always beautiful outside?

Today for instance, this morning was awful, thick grey cloud and a feeling of "oh shit should I really have hung out that washing!"

One of the girls at work asked me "Sarah, is it going to rain today?" (Not sure why she asked me, maybe I have a look about me that says, she watched the news she will know!) so I whipped out my phone and checked on my weather app, it said grey cloud with a little sunshine! Balls..... it was beautiful by the afternoon.

We have invested alot of money at the moment into our candy buffet pieces but finding it hard to get started and where! So next week (yes finally some holiday!) I am going to make a good effort to get some more postcards printed, and get some pictures on the website of the different glasses we have.

The best part of this week was when I sold 60 candy stripped bags on ebay! All hand stamped, and finished off with a bow. They did look awesome! So I have expanded my stamp collection (husband is learning to live with my madness! lol). Next week I am going to have a go at doing some more tags, trying to keep them funky yet with a distressed twist.
